What happens when you exchange your ticket for a wristband?
When trading in your ticket for a wristband, you get access to the festival area (and camping if your ticket includes the camping area). It is not possible to take off the wristband after putting it on, if you want to visit the festival. You may not enter the festival with a broken / ripped of wristband.
Where can you park?
There is a parking area close to the festival entrance. Buy your parking pass here
How do I get to Getaway Rock from Gävle City?
There is a bus going from Gävle Central Station to our festival area. You can check the timetable for this bus on the following site www.stadsbussarna.se.
What is the age limit?
You need to be 13 years old to enter the festival area. We do not recommend anybody under the age of 16 to visit the camping area.
Access to camping sites
- "1-Day Tickets" grants access to the festival area but not any of the camping sites. The 1-day tickets are only valid for the day they’re bought for. There is no possibility to buy extra camping for this ticket.
- "3-Day Festival + Camping” grants access to the festival area, ordinary camping and MC-&Caravan camping.
- "3-Day Festival + Caravan Camping” grants access to the festival area and to the ordinary camping.
- "3-Day Festival + MC Camping" grants access to the festival area and to the ordinary camping.
I’ve bought a ticket without camping, is it possible to add it?
Yes, it is possible. You can do it at our box office at the festival entrance.
I’m an assistant to a person that bought a ticket, how do I get in?
Attendants and assistants can get in to the festival for free, and do not have to buy a ticket. They are fully responsible for the person they are assisting.
When does the camping open?
The camping opens on August 5th at 12:00 and is open all the time until August 9th at 12:00.
What kind of service do you provide on the camping?
There are several charging stations for cellphones on the camping site. There is also a nursing tent, showers, toilets and food stalls.
Are there any other alternatives if you do not want to stay in a tent during the festival?
There are several places in Gävle you could stay in, see www.visitgavle.se.
What can you eat on the festival?
We have a lot of food stalls on the festival, that provides a wide range of food from all over the world on the festival site and the camping.
Where can I find water?
There are several water posts on both the camping and on the festival site.
Are you allowed to bring alcohol on the festival area?
No, it is strictly prohibited to bring any alcohol or any other drinks to the festival area. You are allowed to bring alcohol to the camping area, as long as its not in glass bottles.
Can I buy beer on the festival area?
Is BBQ-ing allowed?
Open fire and BBQ is only allowed at certain spots. You will be able to find the spots on our upcoming festival map.
Are you allowed to bring party tents with you to the camping site?
Party tents are allowed, but you can’t build several together and make a huge line.
What do I do with all the trash?
There are trashcans on the area, and a environmental station.
Are you allowed to bring cameras and recording devices?
Cellphones and small cameras are allowed in to the festival area.
System cameras and recording devices are only allowed on the camping site.
What am I not allowed to bring?
Drugs, masks, weapons such as knifes, spray colours, powerplants, carbatteries, gas oil, inflammable liquids, thoughts of getting in to the area without buying a ticket, pets, fire place for yout military tent, your tendency to crowdsurfing, posters, flyers and glass bottles.
